Elegant script fonts can be a real asset for your design library. If you are following me for a while, you know how obsessed I am with fonts! My digital library has around 3000 choices – and yet the hunt for beautiful fonts never seem to end! I am totally in love with the elegant script fonts I have sourced for you today. And the best thing: They are free to use, you can download them instantly and I have also added some tips for pairing these fonts with others! Okay, that were actually three things – let’s get the font-party started, shall we?
Awesawez Script Font
This elegant script font is sure more on the modern side. It would work especially well for all those lady bosses who dream to rule the world. It also has a few swashes coming with it (accessible via the glyph panel in Photoshop) which makes designing with it even more fun!
Tip: Try pairing it with a straight but not too thin sans-serif font. I used Droid Sans in the example above.

Bromello Script Font
Bromello has a similar vibe like Awesawez, but I feel it’s less edgy and more whimsical. The linked free version is free for personal use, for commercial use please support the artist and purchase the full version.
Tip: Pair it with a quirky serif font like Alegreya to make a fun & irresistible pair!

Ambarella Script Font
The last font I want to introduce to you today in this series of elegant script font is the beautiful and feminine Ambarella Script. This is a very delicate font and would work perfectly for all things wedding & romantic. It’s completely free for commercial use and also comes with tons of extras!
Tip: Since Ambarella is so delicate, stay away from very bold or heavy typefaces to pair it with. Try something light and elegant like Josefin Sans.
